LIGHTWEIGHT CARBON-FIBER HANDGUARD
The Lancer Lightweight Carbon-Fiber Handguard (LCH) is a custom profiled free float handguard system designed for AR type rifles.
Applying our experience in carbon-fiber product design and lightweight component development we’ve created a robust free float handguard that weighs less than comparable aluminum handguard systems without sacrificing rigidity or impact strength. Available in carbine, mid-length, rifle length and extra long (15”) the Lancer Lightweight Carbon-Fiber Handguard can be applied to a variety of rifle configurations and used in many different applications.
Advanced Design
• Carbon-Fiber Handguard Tube – We’ve selected a carbon-fiber layup / resin combination that will resist the heat associated with high volumes of small arms fire, and is rigid enough for heavy use. Cooling slots have been provided to manage barrel temperature.
• 7075-T6 Aluminum Components – Where necessary aircraft grade 7075-T6 aluminum has been used to ensure the durability and reliability of the handguard assembly, such as the upper receiver extension and the end cap. The carbon-fiber tube is precision fit to the upper receiver extension and secured with fasteners to ensure a rigid connection. An end cap is provided to protect the end of the tube from rough handling damage.

- Length - The standard handguard (carbine, mid and rifle length) tubes are designed to allow the use of a front sight post, if you wish to cover your gas block you will need to purchase the next longer length.

OPTIONS
- No rails - This is the lightest of all options. The handguard tube is supplied with cooling slots but have no attachment points for sight rails. Handguards with no sight rails cannot be user modified to accept sight rails.
- No rails, no cooling slots - Developed for Varmint rifles, these handguard tubes have no cooling slots. A sling swivel stud attachment point is supplied at 6 o’clock to allow the attachment of a bipod.
- 2" Picatinny sight rail on top for removable front sight - The handguard tube is supplied with cooling slots and a 2” sight rail at the front of the tube at 12 o’clock. The sight rail is Picatinny design, precision machined to MIL-STD -1913. The sight rails are machined specifically for the Lancer Carbon-Fiber Handguard tube to ensure the top of the rail matches the top of a Mil-Spec M4A1 “flat top” receiver. The sight rails are factory installed and should not be removed.
- Full length Picatinny sight rail on top for optic and/or front sight. The handguard tube is supplied with cooling slots and a 2” sight rail at the front of the tube at 12 o’clock. The sight rail is Picatinny design, precision machined to MIL-STD -1913. The sight rails are machined specifically for the Lancer Carbon-Fiber Handguard tube to ensure the top of the rail matches the top of a Mil-Spec M4A1 “flat top” receiver. The recoil grooves in the receiver and sight rail may not be “timed” due to tolerances of the receiver threading and the receiver extension provided with the handguard. The recoil grooves being out of position will only effect an accessory that has a fixed base and bridges the receiver and handguard sight rail. The sight rails are factory installed and should not be removed.

Warranty: All Lancer Systems Handguards and Handguard Accessories are 100% warranted against manufacturer's defects. Defective handguards will be repaired or replaced at the sole discretion of Lancer Systems. Unauthorized modifications or deliberate abuse will void warranty.
